What are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented fresher to join our team as an Accounting Clerk/Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will provide support to different departments, handle administrative tasks, and contribute to process improvements.

Some key expectations for the successful candidates are to:

  • Assist with administrative tasks and provide support to different departments as needed.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
  • Utilize MS Office (Excel, Word) to prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documents.
  • Ensure high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills to assist in reporting analysis and findings.
  • Proactively approach problem-solving and contribute to process improvements.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to handle various tasks assigned.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned from time to time.

Education and/or Experience

  • University or College Student.
  • 0-1 years’ experience in an administrative role (an asset).
  • Knowledge of Sage accounting software. (an asset)
  • Familiarity with ADP or similar software, time and attendance systems. (an Asset)

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent English communication, both oral and written.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Accurate and attentive with strong work ethics.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Possess strong analytical skills to handle financial data.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Office environment, photocopier, printers.
